Triptych - Three 20×20 maple cradled panels with the sides stained in dark walnut finish. Each piece can be interchanged and the horizon line and clouds will still connect. It was inspired from Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland.

YahWeh - A name of God, in the Hebrew language, they are the only consonants that do not allow the use of the tongue or close your lips; an attempt to imitate breath. When you say it you inhale “Yah” and exhale “Weh”. This piece is titled Yahweh a sacred, holy name of as God who created the breath in our lungs. He is the air we breathe. This is a Triptych, meaning three pieces of art formed together yet separate. Each piece is based on the Holy Trinity - God is three persons in one: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Inspired by 2 pieces of scripture to proclaim God’s Testimony:

“The Spirit, the water, and the blood - and these three are in agreement” 1 John 5:8 and

“Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart.” Deuteronomy 6:4-6

As a person of Faith, I am called to share His Testimony. I have always found the Trinity a mystery, but what a marvellous mystery it is that we have a Creator who is the breath in our lungs, when we inhale and exhale his name of YahWeh.

The movement of the clouds represent the Holy Spirit, the trees represent the Son - Jesus Christ, and the water, land and sky represent God. The trees are magenta to represent the blood that Jesus shed for us when he died on the cross. The smaller tree tops represent us, his royal priest hood, coloured with purple and magenta to represent royalty and covered in the son’s blood.

Do you have a dime? Have you ever seen the replica of the most famous ship in Canadian history that soared through North Atlantic waters once upon a time ago? The Bluenose was both a fishing and racing vessel in the 1920s and 1930s that was known for its incredible speed. It achieved many sailing championships of fishing fleets and held the record for the largest catch of fish brought in to it’s home of Lunenburg. I had the joy of watching the tall ships as they sailed through Halifax’s harbour as well as having a tour on the replica itself. The history of this vessel is incredible!!!
