Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept commissions?

Commissions are currently closed. When commissions reopen, they will be announced on my newsletter, facebook page and on my Instagram. Or sign up for my newsletter at the bottom of this page, and follow me on Instagram here. If you have any questions or ideas of a future project, please email me.

Who owns the painting rights?

All artwork, including images of the artwork, is the sole property of Karen Neu Wideman and is held under copyright even after purchase. This means that Karen Neu Wideman retains all rights to all artwork I have created, including sold and commissioned original paintings. Karen Neu Wideman retains the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I created, unless the buyer has purchased the full rights to the artwork, on top of the purchased price of the original. The buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission of the artist.

If you would like to ensure that your purchased piece will never become a print, please email me to discuss purchasing the full or partial rights to your paintings.

Do you ship internationally?

I do ship internationally. I have tried to estimate worldwide shipping costs to the best of my ability. I try to keep shipping costs as affordable as I can to all customers.

What’s your Return and Exchange policy?

Each painting is photographed in an attempt to capture it in it’s closest likeness to the original pieces. Due to some monitor colour collaboration and having to trust in technology, some colours might vary slightly in person. I try to capture the likeness of my paintings online to the best of my ability.

Sales and commissions are handled with transparency and I try to describe my paintings as specifically as possible.

All sales are final. If you feel you have received your painting in error, please email me.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly.

Can I pick up at your studio?

Yes! This is a great option if you are local! My Studio is located in Port Perry, Ontario. If this is your choice, please send me an email to arrange a pick up time!
